People of all weights, ages and sizes get sick, it's part of the human condition. Fat people are being ostracized to the nines. A health diet is balanced and comprises of fat, protein, vitamins, minerals, water and carbohydrates  
It is unfair that fat kids are told to starve themselves, when they are perfectly healthy. Dramatic changes(reduction) in diet can have fatal consequences.  
Studies revealing the linkages between obesity and disease, ignore the fact that as people get older they are more likely to get sick because they are getting older. And so what if the likelihood of being fat also increases with age?
