The English Premier league is more exciting than other European leagues
Yes, because... England has some of the best and some of the worst managers.
Always the best and the worst in the business are in the Premier League. This keeps the excitement and emotions flying high!
The English Premier league is more exciting than other European leagues
No, because... There is too much money in the Premier League
While it would be fair to accept that there is a lot of money in the English game, this shouldn't be a reason to argue against it being exciting. Indeed, perhaps the reason there is so much money in the game now is precisely because it IS so exciting. Advertisers, TV rights and, of course the fans who all ultimatley 'subsidise' the 'obscene' wages of many footballers, surely do so because they are interested in the fare on offer. It's called supply and demand - and if the English game wasn't exciting then this would soon be reflected in the money coming into the game.
Much like one or two of it's European counterparts, the Premier League has far too much money circulating through it. Wages at the top of the Premiership pyramid are seen by most as obscene, and rightly. Michael Ballack taking home over one hundred thousand pouns a week is quite frankly, offensive. It looks likely that the game will ultimately collapse in on itself, with financial pressure becoming too great for a good number of teams just trying to maintain Premier League status.

The English Premier league is more exciting than other European leagues
No, because... There are too many foreign players in the Premier League
English football is no longer English. The Premier League might well be exciting, but what is exciting about the way our developement of home grown talent is going? There should be some rules imposed that dictate how many foreign players are allowed to be fielded, simply, for the good of the ENGLISH game. What has happened to our national side over the years? All expectation and nothing to back it up, with woeful exits. Vindication for the point that home grown talent, and a majority of it within our teams is plain to see with the way the Italians have started to go about things. World Cup winners, and over 75% of the players there are Italian.
